Hidden Gems on Steam

Anything due out soon, or that's been release in the past few years worth picking up or eyeing for a sale? Assume I've basically only been playing AAA titles, and Tabletop Simulator.

Actually, here's a link to my library

Here are a few in no particular order:

  • Transistor: Hard to describe but Puzzle/Action/RPG with a great soundtrack and decent story
  • The Stanley Parable: Weird indie game about the illusion of choice in a video game. (Lots of humor)
  • Legend of Dungeon: Procedural generated 2D pixel dungeon. Indie developed by local company Robot Loves Kitty out of NH.
  • Hack 'n' Slash: A game by Double Fine productions. Zelda like with the twist of needing to hack things in the game to progress.
  • Broken Age: A Double Fine game that I kickstarted. Based on old school point and click adventure games.
  • Banner Saga: Turn based strategy and brutal storytelling. Excellent game.

Nice. Looked at these, and added Transistor, Legend of Dungeon, Hack 'n' Slash, and Banner Saga to my wishlist.
